What you don't see. . . . What we hope you can see. I made the change in March 2008. Don't ever be told who you must vote for. You decide who your vote should go to. If you are told to support one group from the other, then you know you are in bad company!

What happens when you complaint about the opposition?
I have seen this once too often. In fact, when I accepted the march 2008 election results (and I supported the change, and did my part for it too) and placed my support for any side doing the right thing (as with now, the changes and transformation that Najib has put into effect wins my vote), but apparently the flavor of the day is still to demonise those who voice their support openly for the government.
Take for example this video, made by some people (like the many others who have become citizen journalists overnight) who seem to think that Penang is not what it seems, then the comments will flood in to 'kill you off' by calling you all kinds of names.
I was at the Lim Guan eng vs Chua Soi Lek debate recently, and I witnessed an account whereby a videographer/blogger was jeered at and called names at the DAP section. He was labelled a 'Running Dog' (literal translation from the term 'Chou kow' in chinese which basically means a dog that turns against his own pack) and shoved out of the section where DAP supporters were sitting at.
I was ushered in to the wrong door and ended up sitting amongst Lim Guan Eng's office employees (one named Adrian and another lady 'Wei Yee - I think). Each time Soi Lek made a point, there would be exchanges and sniggers amongst them. I am sure that this happened amongst MCA supporters, but where is the decorum from State officials in such an event?
I eventually laft that section as I too was pointed out to be to be a non supporter.
If anything, I am more driven to stand out against any form of injustice. In fact, some time last week, a Christian blogger pointed out to me a 'christian blog' which fanned religious sentiment and deft against the government.
There is nothing wrong to be anti establishment, but to do so with such hatred and vile to the effect of using religion as an excuse is downright disgusting.
Let not our differences divide us, but unite us to move Malaysia forward!
I leave you with this video above, for you to ponder, because for everything that the Penang State government is telling you (there are yet others that they don't) and that goes with the government too!

While I'm all for fair and independent views of Penangites, Mr. Lin Ji Xiang's series of videos on You tube contain many videos indicated as being by MCA HQ, so how can I regard such videos as being genuine independent views.
While I agree that there are genuine reasons for Penangites to be unhappy with the current Penang state government over issues shuch as high prices of housing, still I'd like to hear honest & independent viewpoints.

Lack of affordable housing in Penang... now, how is that not honest and independent grievance from Penangite to you? Or are you still in denial.
Quite a while back, I watched an episode on NGC about KimJongilia. Am now beginning to think... Is the CM beyond criticsm, when all his supporters would come down hard on any critics? Well, in North Korea, those who go against the Dear Leader would have he and his family condemned to eternity, if not executed.
Before 2008, UMNO jumped to defend Badawi although they knew he and his family members were sucking the public coffer dry. Unsurprisingly, come GE12, the people kicked him out. Is the table turned against the other camp this time around?

Thanks for your reply.
I've heard about the high cost of housing in Penang from independent sources such as my late cousin's wife but the connection of Mr. Lin Ji Xiang's site to MCA makes me wary of the independence of his criticisms on other issues such as the high cost of business rentals in Penang Hill, etc.
I've also heard from an activist Penangite that Lim Guan Eng is not listening to the activists who votem them in and LGE.DAP is sucking up to developers.
There's truth in these allegations but I'd like to hear them from an independent source not alliged to the BN or Pakatan, that's all.
BTW. Don't equate LGE to North Korean leaders. LGE is a "Tony Blair" - a New "Labour" leader who sucks up to capitalists and who did not listen to his people's opposition to Britain's involvement in the Iraq/Afghanistan wars.
