Perhaps the Minister has finally taken note that there are indeed some people who can actually deliver.
A new Chairman has just been named at MCMC, yes the same MCMC that is under the Minister of Communication, Information and Culture, and he is no other than Datuk Mohamed Sharil Tarmizi.
he is certainly no stranger to the commission, and having served 3 ministers, including the current, Malaysians keen on the development of the industry can sit up and pay attention, as this man is one that the industry is respectful of.
Not known to be one that cuts corners, Sharil once chaired ICANN, and agencies like Talent Corp should perhaps use him as a model on how Malaysians who have gone abroad can return and serve like him.
Personally, I am just glad that the Minister has relented and chosen a capable young man to helm an important arm in MCMC and perhaps, the old man can learn a thing or two......
Tahniah, Datuk. And please remind those monkeys there that those who used to jump up and down when they were told to, well, be prepared to get in the cage!

Dear Tony, I have met Datuk Sharil and agree with you that he is indeed very capable and an examplary candidate for the job.
However I disagree that the old monkey in charge of MCMC will ever learn anything.
