3 years on , and Pakatan Rakyat has yet to do anything drastically beneficial for the rakyat of the states it leads.
3 years on in not talking about a policy in hope that the rakyat will not question has resulted in one state going its own way implementing the Hudud enactment despite its 'coalition partners' saying no.
Yet, a 'pseudo economic expert' tasked with being the 'Economic adviser' of DAP could only muster a 'Budget 2012 fails to live up to the Prime Minister's reform pledges in NEM, GTP and ETP'.
Despite failing in his own business, raking debts and suing his customers to get his business out of trouble, the Pseudo expert chose to give percentages in trying to seek out the weaknesses of the 2012 budget.
No mention of DDIs and FDIs because by doing so would only give credit to Najib's administration. No need to also mention that in every nation, budget expenditure goes in tandem with income. Wonder what the Pseudo thinks of the USA economy? No need to stimulate local economy by spending internally? Perhaps then Obama should seek your help and advise in managing his domestic employment problems?
DAP thrives on highlighting negatives, and not acknowledging positives. For example, mentioning Greece, Spain and Ireland in one breath would lead their believers to think that Malaysia is all doom and gloom.
Nevermind that KLIFD, the planned Islamic financial capital will help in boosting Islamic financing in a big way.
No need to acknowledge that Malaysia is the largest Sukuk issuer with 64% market share in the world.
What this translates to is the growth in Islamic financial controls along with asset growth and Economic Traded Funds that are Syariah compliant. Think the whole world that is Syariah compliant looks to Malaysia as the place to trade and bank in this aspect.
Wait. DAP is not Islamic based right? No wonder then why Pseudo Economic experts do not mention anything about this.
Its easy isn't it to cite a few percentages here and there and then hoodwink their fanboys and gals into swallowing everything that is dished out wholesale.
Here is another example, how Unker Kit is making use of his adviser. Notice that Unker himself has not weighed in on the 2012 budget...yet. Why ar? Don't understand kah?
Instead, Unker chooses to highlight 'Richard Loh's My Dream Malaysia'. Unker, why don't you get Richard Loh to go to Penang and find out how DAP has affected the prices of property there ar?
For Richard Loh, may I suggest you try to move away from the city if you feel that city life can only get you a 900 sq ft apartment? I have found out why places like Malacca has become a developed state. Public transport there is really good. No need to use Proton if you don't like.
For many Malaysians who always look at the negative, I will tell you a story of how some people CHOOSE to return to Malaysia despite securing professional positions abroad (this will come soon)
But more importantly, if someone really cares to look into the positives, then here is an example, how one can see the silver lining on every cloud. He leads a party that even his former seniors have now claimed to be 'irrelevant'. The very same party seniors who have opted out of MCA to be Vice President of non elected position.
There you have it, my conclusion is that the likes of these people only see Malaysia as a half full glass, and not a half empty one. Syabas PR, thanks for reminding us yet again why our vote for you in 2008 is a wasted one!
