I received a heads up from an article which was published by Malaysiakini....
Currently, motorists have to pay between RM1.60 (for motorcycles) and RM48.90 (for large lorries) at the Tanjung Kupang toll plaza while at Singapore's Tuas checkpoint, they have to fork out S$0.70 (RM1.63) and S$21 (RM48.76) for motorcycles and large lorries respectively.
At the Penang bridge, motorist pay between RM1.40 (for motorcycles) and RM75 (for large lorries) at the Sebarang Jaya toll booth. Saloon car owners pay RM7.
Whereas the Star carried this; hmmmmmmmmmm...........

Word for word, the Star and Malaysiakini carried the same para.
Whereas, the headlines;
Malaysiakini: Guan Eng: Penang bridge toll should be reduced too
The Star: Second Link users to pay 30% less toll
So you see. MSM or News Portal......they do the same thing, shape the mind of their readers they way they see fit.
Understand???
What you don't see. . . . What we hope you can see. I made the change in March 2008. Don't ever be told who you must vote for. You decide who your vote should go to. If you are told to support one group from the other, then you know you are in bad company!

The truth about this PKR Media Coordinator....
'Today my blog celebrates it's first anniversary.Exactly a year ago,I woke up with tears in my eyes and wondered if there was a reason for me to shed tears or was this a calling from God.Sipping my tea-tarik with friends at our nearby favorite coffee shop, the inspiration from friends further motivated me.It was the beginning of a journey to tell Sabahans and Sarawakians, enough of all this"
Wow, how touching.
In fact when you readmore into his blog, you can almost feel the hatred.
"I wish to convey my warm wishes and greetings to all my Kadazan brothers and sisters...KOTOBIAN TADAU KAAMATAN,and to my Dayak brothers and sisters..HAPPY GAWAI.May we rise together as one and redeemed back our dignity and claim what rightfully belongs to us. "
WOWWWW!!! Did he say "US"? Was he referring to Malaysians or Sabahans??
Why don't you come back in a few days and find out what he did during Tun Mahathir's last few years in office, and what he is saying now.

Councillors Interfering with Enforcement in MPSJ

Councilors for the Subang Jaya Municipality are now interfering wholesale with the enforcement unit.
Speaking on anonymity, a business owner told me that one councilor, who was appointed by way of being a resident association head, had instructed the enforcement unit to seal kindergartens in the municipality that were operating without licenses.
But there lies the matter, when licenses were issued, it took almost five years before this school got theirs. It has been operating since 1997, and when it submitted for renewal, the council did not respond.
However, things certainly changed since 2008. According to the officer who sealed the premises, he was instructed to do so by Theresa Ratnam, and when asked why the sealing was done at 9pm, he merely said that he was instructed to do so.
When pressed further, he revealed the councilor's name, and said that it was 'political'. he later asked the school owner top speak to either Hannah Yeoh (Subang ADUN) or Theresa Ratnam.
In the wake of 'their' victory, it seems that those in power think that they can change things overnight. And this is the result. Renewed enforcement! Have you seen the parking spaces available in townships? Before they enforce, wouldn't it be fair to first provide parking spaces? And this matter of a kindergarten being closed.....it seems that the owner must get the consent of at least 45 house owners before their renwal is permitted.
I say good luck. And for those councilors that seem to think that they are doing the right thing, lease consider what you will do if you are the one on the receiving end!
I have certainly seen the bad and the ugly, and this is definitely UGLY!
