What did they say? Remember?

I drove past the 811 funeral home today, and though I did not see any funeral taking place, its safe to say that they are still operating there. I wonder what the councilors and the YB there is doing about it? Didn't they say they will do their part?

I suspect it is not so easy, especially so when PR is now in power. It is surely learning the ropes and the 'rope' says that if you pull hard enough everything that is tied to it will end up falling all over you. Today, the people of Kinrara and the surrounding areas are trying to stop their backyard from being turned into a cemetery. And get this....Ronnie Liu says that a small part of Subang Ria will be developed! Lee Hwa Beng for the towkay that he is did try to wayang kulit and the park stayed the way it is during his time! I will want to see the PR YBs protect the park!

I recall Elizabeth Wong saying in the Ampang Hills demonstration by the residents that no green lung will be developed by the PR govt, as 'most of them' are activist! Well so long sista! As all they are doing now is to learn the ropes of those in power! Wheeling and dealing!
Ronnie says that it will be crazy for the government to take over the park.
It was easy for them to gazette that hill slopes that slope more than 40 degrees (or something like that) will be banned from development, why not green lungs? Its not so easy right? The lake behind my condo has already been lost to the developers, and this happended during PR's time. We were told that the developer license for the said land had already expired when Sivarasa spoke to the residents. Guess what? A few months later, the emptied the pond, and now more building! What happened to the promise that they will stop 'over development'?

What next? PAS telling us that beer cannot be sold in Selangor is already making heads turn, and then what? Coming to church again to win us over and do the opposite?

I guess, while Anwar and his gang are busy engaging Najib and gang, the rest of us guillible ones who think that our interest is being looked into are just being............naive.

I say to hell the lot of them, and look for an alternative! Anyone wants to set up a Green Party? First to save mother earth (around us) , then to save our furry friends (wild animals) and then, with successful greening policies, run for Parliament!!!
