Ahh.....if you did not know already. MALAYSIA AIRLINES, once an airline that I was proud of, once an airline that I worked for. That seems so long ago. And now, I really feel for my friends who still serve there. Why?
You must have read this, A pilot with a twisted mind, and rocky's take here. Please feel free to let me know what you think. Should we be helping this company by spending our hard earned money there? After all, they quite happily did put a Chief Stewardess of 14 years out of her job by having her third child! No joke here!
Shites Man! And to think that the Malaysian Government spent RM2 billion to put it right!

I note that you did not report that a SIA pilot, Captain Ng Kok Yauw, was also caught in the crackdown on porn at Aussie airports. He was charged by the Aussie authorities on Monday and fined A$12,000. He pleaded guilty and paid the fine (as reported in the Singapore Straits Times, Feb 14).
Why single out the MAS pilot only? In the interest of "fair and balanced reporting" you should have noted that the Aussie crackdown on porn at Aussie airports has caught 19 people since January 2007, among them the MAS and SIA pilots.
What is the common denominator here? That both pilots are Malaysians?
And can you extrapolate from there to generalise that Malaysians are avid consumers of child pornography (or "kiddie porn")?

I was givgen the heads up on the SIA pilot only the day after. On checking with contacts in the consular,
I have been told that the OZ authorities are NOT SINGLING out anybody. Due to the modus operandi of syndicates, the random checking of laptops has been done to filter out individuals with pornography.
Fantasy or not, it is still abhorred!
No intention to misreport, just posting as the news come in....
